|+Interesting points about the Goddesses+|

-gods have different jobs in the system

ex. Belldandy is a wish fulfiller and goddess of the present

- each goddess has their own way of travel/teleportation:

ex. Belldandy sleeps, a goddess named Urd drinks alcoholic beverages (mostly sake)

Backround

Oh My Goddess! (Aa Megami-sama) or Ah! My Goddess! is focused mainly on a relationship involving Keiichi, a student at NIT, and a goddess named Belldandy. This anime series is a romantic comedy that is acutally aimed at the male, college audience for its firm basis on reality with the fantasy setting. Although, this series is popular with females in the West and along with the movie. To start, the story began with Keiichi calling for take-out food and with that wrong number changed his life. Instead of take-out food, he reached the relief goddess office. He summoned a Goddess named Belldandy and out of his mirror came out a beautiful goddess and she was to grant him one wish no matter what...

Keiichi, being a bit short has problems with getting a girlfriend. So the wish he made was for someone to stay with him forever - someone that looks just like her. Belldandy mistakenly interprets this as a wish for her to stay with him forever and so does it be. Unfortunately, Keiichi lives in a Mens-only dorm at NIT therefore he gets kicked out and the 2 decide to live in a small temple. From there on, the story progresses with new characters, and often romantic and funny situations.

On the movie... 

- Released November 27, 2001 from Pioneer Entertainment to be available to North American audiences. 

-Set 3 years later and begins with a prisoner named Celestin, who was Belldandy's former mentor.  -Imprisoned for trying to overthrow the Universal System called the Yggdrasil.  Escapes prison and seeks to destroy the system, even though it would end the hapiness and the world.

-Belldandy and Keichii are part of a motor club. They race motorcycles. A strange girl joins the club.

-For help, he goes to his former student Belldandy and erases her memories of Keiichi and infects the system at the same time with the equivalent to a computer virus. Yggdrasil system is then shutdown.
